If you watch this DVD and follow along exactly, you can take a LXD55/75 GEM heads and make it perform a heck of a lot better! It seems that the aluminum cast GEM heads all share the similar design and construction, so I've "hypertuned" several other non-Meade GEM heads. So if you want to learn how to do a "hypertune" on a GEM head you need this dvd. Includes the DVD and the pictorial breakdown of the head & parts and supplies needed. You probably will have most of the stuff needed around the basement or garage, and any hardware store can supply anything else. Price includes shipping. You really need to watch the DVD several times and do everything exactly!! It will fit any scope if the scope fits. I made so you lay the foam in the area (see picture) and a space for your accessories to go in the case with the telescope. The area of where to put the foam measures 3 ft long by 19 1/2" wide. It will fit the Meade 7" LX200s, 8" LX200s, and probably the Celestron 6", and 8". I have a picture of what it looks like with the foam and telescope in the case. The original manufacturer's foam will fit as long as it will fit in the 3' by 19 1/2" space to put, if its loose then just find some other foam and slap in where its loose. Made it out of nice natural wood on the sides it has handles for carrying and hinges with clamps for opening and closing the case. On the top and bottom I have a felt-like material to prevent breaking and it won't scratch the wood or anything.
